19 A.D.D.

19 A.D.D. is a technical post-rock band from Denver Colorado that combines complex compositional structures, odd time signatures, ambient soundscapes and intricate instrumental playing. The band is known for their explosive, high-energy live performances. The members of 19 A.D.D. originally intended and auditioned several vocalists and multi-instrumentalists to join the group. However, with their early rehearsals the band generated such interest that the group was offered paying gigs and decided to remain instrumental. Originally forming in 2006 under the name Black Helicopters, the band began to perform around the Denver area as a trio mixing visual projections and free-form noise. Over time, the band took a more focused approach and spent 3 years writing and recording their debut release Dead River which was released August 25th 2009 on the bands own label, Level 36 Recordings. Dead River was recorded in several environments including a 2 tape reel at one studio and a state of the art digital setup at another. The band is currently working on material for a second release and putting together a music video. Look for 19 A.D.D. to be on the road summer 2010. 19 A.D.D. is: Eric Pereira: Drums, Synth Jared Emery: Guitar, Saxophone, Synth Matt Blanks: Bass, Synth Read more on Last.fm.
