Ashleigh Sendin

Ashleigh grew up in South Africa where she trained in dance from the age of 3 and singing from the age of 11. She began working professionally at age 13 She has worked extensively in Musical Theatre. West End Credits include: creating the role of Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes at the Prince Edward Theatre starring Elaine Paige. The 1993 Revival of Hair at The Old Vic. Lady in the Dark at The National Theatre. Promises Promises at the Bridewell and the World Premiere of Stephen Sondeims’s Saturday Night. She has also featured in several seasons of Discover the Lost Musicals at the Barbican. . She is featured on the Original Cast Soundtrack Recordings of “Anything Goes” (First Night Records), “Hair” (EMI), “Lady in the Dark” (Jay Records) and Stephen Sondheim’s “Saturday Night”( First Night Records). She has also recorded Concept Albums for projected musicals “The Fly” and “Anything to Stay Young” based on Oscar Wilde’s A Picture of Dorian Gray. Her session work includes TV’s Spitting Image, Demo’s and backing vocals covering a wide range of styles from Rock to Blues and Jazz.
