There are at least four bands named Aspen at last.fm: A doom band from Portugal, ex-Cosmic Vishnu. http://www.facebook.com/lesaspen | http://myspace.com/leaspen A Mathmetal/Progressive Hardcore band from Sumner,WA A three piece from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Their music are blended of acoustic, psychedelic, space and mystical, minimalist folk rock. their first(5 songs)ep is available now on last.fm Aspen is a perfomance name of Bevan Smith, used when making electronica. Aspen music is influenced by electro pop from the 80's and early Warp and Rephlex records material, say early 90's. Bevan took a break from making Aspen music in 2001 and has since been concentrating on collaborative efforts, Over the Atlantic and Skallander and the more guitar/song-based material of Signer.
