Beta Bow
Beta Bow is an Indie/Synthpop project from Vienna, Austria that writes catchy pop tunes and quirky electropop tracks. Beta Bow got internationally noted when their single Second Streets Have No Name was remixed by The Bloody Beetroots for their album Romborama. Four years later, in 2013, the band finally comes back with their EP Four Songs About Liberty And Love and some brilliant remixes. Founded in 2006 by songwriter duo Guenther Bernhart (guitars) and Julien Diehn (synths) the band was joined by Sophie Kim on drums in early 2009. Guenther Bernhart started his musical career fronting the band Temple X and collaborating with Frank Tovey on the '93 Fad Gadget Europe tour. He has since then toured with diverse bands backing up on guitars (eg Client). More recently he has been successful with his electronic project Allen Alexis. Diehn a.k.a Les Bernard has collaborated with Berlin hip-hop crew Puppetmastaz and with acid house producer Tin Man as Love & Affection. Drummer Sophie Kim is a member of Vienna DJ-collective Gorillakaffee and has played in diverse viennese underground formations, eg Tofu GTI, Who Killed Bambi and the Playbackdolls.
