Bezalel

Bezalel (born Chaim Issac Bezalel Raviv), the youngest of 12 sisters and bothers, was born to a religious Jewish family to parents who fled to Israel from Tunisia and settled on the seaside of the Sea of Tiberius where it's believed Jesus walked on water. Bezalel started his music career at age ten when he was chosen to sing with the boy band choir Flowers of Jerusalem. When he was just 12 years old Bezalel started to write and compose music in English influenced by pop music from the 80's. When he finished his military service in Israel, Bezalel flew to Manhattan, NYC, after watching a VH1 documentary on singer Madonna. After gaining some fame in the Manhattan's gay clubs and bars with dance songs he wrote, he traveled to Milan, Italy. Bezalel has decided then to quit the dance scene and develop a new sound he calls Oriental-pop and released recently his most ambitious song so far, Tunisia. Tunisia is mainly a pop song influenced by music from the 80's and Arabic music Bezalel heard as a child. http://www.myspace.com/bezalelmyspace Read more on Last.fm.
