Big Ran

Champion - cham*pi*on noun ('cham′pē ən) 1. Warrior, Fighter -Merriam-Webster's Dictionary. It's certainly no coincidence that the world was introduced to Big Ran Hunned Grand's voice on Canton Jones' song 'Warrior' from Jones' critically acclaimed LP The Password. Six years later, armed with a masters degree from the School of Hard Knocks and an invaluable amount of music industry experience and relationships, Big Ran is delivering Champion Music (his unique brand of hip hop) to all that will listen. Being the quintessential artist/producer, Big Ran has produced and written songs for a variety of artists like the aforementioned gospel phenom Canton Jones to platinum recording artists Ma$e, and Cam'Ron. He's stayed busy working on projects for Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment and has even lent his voice to hip hop supergroup Outkast on their Idlewild LP. Originally from San Francisco, the highly motivated entrepreneur gained a big city perspective from early childhood through high school in the Bay Area and got in touch with his Southern roots while spending hot summers in the sweltering heat of the ATL before eventually packing it up and moving down south for good to take advantage of the bubbling Atlanta music scene. Since establishing his record label A&A Worldwide in 2003, Hunned Grand has released the compilation album The A&A Way as well as 3 volumes of the Built 2 Win mixtape series. Big Ran prefers to stay grounded and focused on a specific purpose with his music...
