Ed Ghost Tucker
Ed Ghost Tucker is a four-piece Indie/World/Pop group from San Diego that blends three-part vocal harmonies over melodic instrumentation and rhythmic syncopations. Spanning a range of genres from oldies to new wave, they have been described as 'eclectic, world-influenced pop’ á la Paul Simon, David Byrne, Grizzly Bear, and Vampire Weekend. The band consists of Ryan Miller, Rutger Rosenborg, and Cameron and Michaela Wilson, all of whom have played music together since childhood. EGT was nominated for a San Diego Music Award in the category of 'Best Pop' during their first year together in 2013. In addition to getting frequent local radio play, NBC's SoundDiego picked them as one of eight bands to break out in 2014. Their single ‘Devils’ was released in September 2013 from the Lost Ark Studio, and in November of 2013 they released a live performance video with StayTuned.LA and Flying Pig Productions. The band made several 'Best of 2013 Lists' and had a feature in San Diego CityBeat’s Local Music Issue in February of 2014. They received an 'ExtraSpecialGood' nod from the CityBeat for their most recent single ‘Sofia,' which was released March 5th, 2014 in conjunction with a music video presented by SnowGlobe Studios.
